BuildAfreeka_ — What funders need to know.
We're building the legal and financial foundation for institutional funding alongside the programme itself — here's exactly where that stands.
NPC & PBO registration
BuildAfreeka_ is currently registering as a non-profit company (NPC) and applying for public benefit organisation (PBO) status with Section 18A tax-deductible receipt eligibility. We will publish our NPC number, PBO number, and Section 18A status here the moment each is granted — none are active yet, so no tax-deductible receipts can be issued until then.
How we're funded
A blended model: corporate CSI and skills-levy sponsorship of training seats, grant funding from foundations and development agencies, government partnerships, and earned income from the Build Studio's sliding-scale client fees. See the Impact page for live pipeline numbers and the Donate page for a per-seat cost breakdown.
